Hiemal hoodie is a warm hat that is worked in fisherman’s rib. A wide I-cord edge is worked around the face. Due to the wide fit, the hoodie can be tucked into the neck when not needed and therefore serves as a protection against cold and wind in the neck. On particularly cold days, you can also wear a thinner hat under the hoodie.
Hiemal hoodie is worked as follows: You cast on stitches at the forehead and work the hoodie backwards. Around the hoodie’s top, stitches are picked up and the hoodie is worked top down to your desired length.
